At the regular meeting of the Beeville ISD board of trustees, members of the A.C. Jones High School cross country and volleyball teams were recognized. Kennedy Treviño was a cross country regional qualifier and Tanner Treviño was a cross country district champion and regional qualifier.

For the volleyball team, Brennan Holder was part of the second team all-district. Victoria Elizalde, Emma Downing and Cierra Garcia were recognized as honorable mention all-district. Elizalde, Brennan Holder, Brianna Jackson, Amanda Gonzales, Downing, Rebecca Delosantos and Margaret Downing were recognized for academic all-district.

Only Emma Downing and Kennedy Treviño were able to be present with coach Kelly Black. Other students were not able to attend the board meeting due to participation in other sport events that night.
