Jose Jaime Duran DeLeon, 59, of Beeville, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. DeLeon was born March 13, 1953, in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Erasmo and Josefina Duran DeLeon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roberto DeLeon; and a sister-in-law, Adela DeLeon.

Survivors include two sons, Tony Vela and Rolando DeLeon, both of Beeville; two brothers, Pablo DeLeon of Laredo and Juan Erasmo DeLeon of Monterrey, Mexico; a sister, Armandina DeLeon Cantu of Beeville; two granddaughters, Sirena Vela and Bethany Vela; a special friend, Rey Alaniz of Beeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A prayer service was held that evening at 7 o’clock with Rev. Gustavo Martinez officiating. Interment will be held in Mexico at a later date.
