CORPUS CHRISTI – The Trojan varsity football team struggled this year, but two of the boys managed to gain some individual recognition recently. Beeville placekicker Marcos Ulloa and tight end Hunter Hardy were selected to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times All-South Texas third team for their work on the field this season.
Hardy was a favorite target of Trojan quarterback Cameron Kremers and worked to get open on slants and midfield routes to provide a big target (6-2) for his quarterback.
Ulloa made good on a very high percentage of his extra-point tries this year and was a threat from 40 yards in for a field goal for the Trojans.
