The Lady Badgers fell to Nixon-Smiley in District 28-2A action last Tuesday, Dec. 18, 54-61.
Senior point-guard Aileen Lundquist led with 15 points, while junior guard Kayla Ramirez chipped in nine. Senior guard Jonie Reyes hit two 3-pointers for her total seven points, and Junior Kourtney Witte added a 3-pointer as well. But the girls could not stop Nixon’s Haleigh Boatright who poured in 18 points.
The JV Lady Badgers routed the JV Lady Mustangs 46-14. Top-point leaders were sophomore Haleigh Warlick and freshman Dee’Sha Shular with eight apiece.
