The San Antonio Symphony Orchestra returns to Beeville Friday, Jan. 18, for a concert at the A.C. Jones High School Auditorium at 7 p.m.

The program, which features Mozart’s “Jupiter” Symphony and Haydn’s “Le reine” Symphony, is made possible by generous grants from the Joe Barnhart Foundation, Texas Commission on the Arts, Coastal Bend Community Foundation and Beeville Concert Association’s many supporters.

The S.A. Symphony also will present concerts for Beeville Independent School District students Thursday, Jan. 17.

Admission for the Friday evening concert is $10 apiece for adults who do not hold BCA season tickets. Students through high school age, adults accompanied by two students and Coastal Bend College students with photo ID’s will be admitted free.

Kay Past, BCA president, asks everyone to note the 7 p.m. beginning time, which is 30 minutes earlier than the normal concert time.

“We encourage everyone to mark their calendars for this spectacular musical event,” she added.
