Seven City of Beeville employees were honored recently for their years of service. They were, from left, Parks and Recreation Superintendent Fred Diaz, 30 years, greenskeeper Juan “Johnny” Borrego, 25 years, light equipment operator/foreman Mitchell “Silky” Smith, 30 years, Public Works Director Albert Bridge, 30 years, chief operator of the Wastewater Department J.C. Barrera, 40 years, utility man/driver Robert Arriola, 15 years, and utility man/driver Manuel Lopez, 15 years.
