The Junior Service League of Beeville begins a new Relay For Life fundraiser – Flamingo Flocking. How it works: The flamingos flock into citizens’ yards. For removal of the pesky little birds, JSL encourages citizens to contact their trained Flamingo Removal Teams and donate money towards JSL’s Relay For Life campaign. After the donation to a worthy cause, the flock of flamingos moves on to another yard. Flamingo Insurance can be purchased to keep the flamingos out of your yard, and people may suggest another yard to flock. Pictured (from left) in a flocked yard are JSL members Michelle Trevino, Gina Martinez, Daisy Hinojosa, Sandra Perez, Amy Banda, Rosanna Cano, Suzanne Perez, Tammy Alaniz and Terri Arthur.
