Falls City junior Dean Gaskamp threw a 1 hitter against Three Rivers last Friday. Gaskamp struck out 11 of the 23 batters he faced. The Beavers’ defense and offense were both on track as they defeated the Bulldogs 19-1. Junior Jonathon Sekula led the offense batting 1.000, going 3 for 3 with a double, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Earlier in the week the Beavers lost to the Pettus Eagles 2-12. FC senior Yosehp Cruz was the losing pitcher and Austen Camber batted .667, going 2 for 3 with a double and one RBI.
