Car lovers will want to be in downtown Beeville this Saturday for the third annual Bee Auto Specialty Car show.
The event will be centered at the new Depot Pavilion in the parking lot west of the 300 block of North Washington Street, starting at noon and continuing until 5 p.m.
This will be the first official event for the recently completed facility.
Being billed as a family event, the show will provide South Texas car lovers plenty of eye candy.
On display will be a variety of cars, trucks and motorcycles of all sizes, colors and shapes, said Beeville Main Street Manager Molly Young.
Food, drinks, music, a moonwalk, games, a raffle and prizes will be offered throughout the day as well.
Vehicles in four categories will be on display, including Sport Compact Cars and Trucks, Antiques (pre-1960), Classics (1960-1989), Four Wheel Drive or Lifted Trucks and SUVs, American Muscles, Street Cruisers and Motorcycles.
In addition, special awards will be presented for Best of Show, Best Club Participation, Best Paint, Best Presentation, Competitors’ Choice and Best Race Car.
Sponsors for the event include Bee Auto Speciality, the Beeville Main Street Program, Sonic and Stallion Oilfield Services.
