A historical marker dedication will be held at the Jourdanton City Cemetary on Saturday (April 18) from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Waltom cemetary entrance is 0.8 of a mile south of State Hwy 97 on Waltom St.

Following the marker dedication, Jourdanton Middle School 7th grade students from the History Club, will tour the cemetery in period clothing portraying many of those buried in the cemetery.

This will be followed by a Civil War re-enactment, then refreshment at the Jourdanton Community Center.
