The Pettus varsity track teams will send a good contingent of athletes to the Region IV meet in Huntsville on May 1-2.

“We are very proud of all our athletes that participated at the area track meet and their hard work paid off with a trip to Huntsville,” said Pettus coach Darcy Siddon.

“ All these athletes don’t just work hard in track but contribute to Pettus ISD in numerous ways and they are successful in all they do.’

The top four finishers in each event will have the opportunity to compete in Huntsville.

Thirteen individual events and one relay race will have a Pettus Eagle or Lady Eagle competing for a chance to go to the state meet on May 15-16.
