Both teams exchanged a possession each in the third quarter. The Eaglet defense came up big as Brian Wiginton and Connor Payne combined forces to stop Jourdanton on a fourth down play.
Jourdanton would get the ball back one more time late in the game and Pacheco scampered around the left side for a 37-yard touchdown run. Pacheco also added the two-point try to give Jourdanton a 22-6 lead late in the game. The Eaglets got the ball one more time but were unable to get anything going and the game ended as Jourdanton ran out the clock.
