Beeville’s Lady Trojans won their Friday night match against Corpus Christi Ray’s Lady Texans.

The best of five varsity showdown went to the Beeville ladies by the scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-13 and 25-16. The win improves Beeville’s record to 18 and 11 overall, and to 3 and 1 in district play.

I am so proud of all the Lady Trojan Volleyball Team and I totally understand what Beeville Mom was saying. I support the Trojan Football Team also, but I feel the community and athletic director could do more to support all the athletic programs. Its upsetting to see the parents of female athletes not even show up to support their daughters at their volleyball games, but see these same parents on Friday nights watching the football games.

Well, you know that Soza doesn't get all the attention. The Bee-Picayune does a great job spreading the wealth. Not only the Beeville sports, but also the local school districts Don't be a hater and be a athletic supporter of all sports - be it the Trojans,Lady Trojans - Bobcats or Eagles !!!!

It is so nice to see more of our Lady Trojans acknowledged, they work so hard and all you ever hear and see is about our football team. Don't get me wrong I love football too, but I get tired of hearing about Sosa, give someone else some glory he doesn't play ball all alone....
