Many thanks to the brave firefighters who fought all afternoon on Oakville Road the afternoon of April 2. If not for their efforts, not only my house, but many homes in Churchill Acres could have been lost. They, as well as many other departments were there all afternoon and came back during the night to check for “hot spots.”
