BERCLAIR – The Beeville Art Association (BAA) members will fire up their grills and smokers and shine their cowboy boots for the second annual Boots & BBQ night at the Berclair Mansion on Thursday evening, June 5.

The event is a fundraiser for the BAA to help in the restoration, maintenance and renovation of Terrell Hall and the mansion. The night will run from 6-9:30 p.m. with food (barbecue kabobs) and a open bar. A silent and live auction also will highlight the evening with several top items up for bid. Fishing trips to Port Aransas and an overnight stay at the mansion to enjoy the ambience of the former owners, who are said to still walk the halls at night, are just a part of the items available at auction.

The BBQ and live music will be centered around the back patio at the mansion, and tours of the unique home also will be included during the evening. Tickets are available through Hogue’s Jewelry, the Wicker Basket and from BAA members for $40 per person or $75 per couple. To reserve a table for 10 people, the donation will be $350.

Great food, fine refreshments and good music should make for a great night.
