The items, once dropped off, will then be delivered to the city’s animal control facility for use at the facility.
Fans are especially needed now in the summer heat, such as box fans available locally for about $20 or others.
The Karnes County Humane Organization is accepting monetary donations for the medical expenses incurred by the animals at the Kenedy Animal Control Facility. The care of these animals by way of shots, spaying, neutering and any other medical needs makes it possible to have the dogs find a forever home or be taken to a no-kill rescue group waiting for placement in a forever home. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 128, Kenedy, Tx. 78119.
Volunteers are needed to bathe dogs, transport to a local vet or transport to an out of town rescue group. Foster homes are also needed while these little ones are waiting to be accepted by a rescue group. If anyone is interested in volunteering or becoming a potential foster, contact Matthew at 830-299-2728.
