Richard Mark Trial died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. He was born in San Antonio on June 8, 1957 to Sylvester and Mary Louise Trial. He graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi. He moved to Kenedy, where he spent the next 28 years. His hobbies included watching the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, playing bingo and listening to country music.

Survivors include his siblings, Kathleen Denise (Stephen) Kostas of Rochester Hills, Mich., Cheryl Ann Trial of Rochester Hills, Mich., Kenneth Charles (Debra) Trial of Hobson, Bobbie Jean (Raymond) Sturm of Austin and Thomas Michael (Sharon) Trial of Richards; eleven nieces and nephews; and nine great nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 21 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Karnes City Texas.

A private Mass for the family was held at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City officiated by Father Stanley.

Interment was in the Hobson Catholic Cemetery.

His nieces and nephews served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

If so desired, contributions may be made to the Hobson Catholic Cemetery Association.
