The commissioners court lifted the burn ban but will reevaluate the dry conditions next Tuesday at the regular meeting. Farmers and ranchers may possibly have a small window of opportunity to burn brush. If conditions don’t continue to improve the burn ban will be placed back into effect at Tuesday’s meeting.
