Plan now to support the Auxiliary of Swinney Switch, Inc. in their mission to help and serve our community with the George West Health Fair at the Grace Armantrout Museum on Oct. 18. The Auxiliary is also collecting items for care packages to send to our Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan in time for Thanksgiving Day.

To help raise the money to help the Auxiliary of Swinney Switch, Inc. in their mission we are sponsoring a benefit show and dance. The show and dance will consist of The One for the Road Band and Tyler McCumber, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., at the Bee County Expo Center Pavilion.

This benefit is to help the Auxiliary of Swinney Switch, Inc. put on the George West Health Fair and send care packages to our American Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Admission is $7 or $5, if you bring an item to put in our care barrel for our troops.

It is a great way to say, “God Bless You” to our fighting men and women and “Thank You” for your service to our Country. The items that help our troops in their mission overseas include shampoo, toothpaste and body lotion because countries like Iraq have desert climates. A complete list of the items needed is available in George West at the Grace Armantrout Museum, at the Dinero Country Store or in Beeville at the Expo Center office.
