The visiting Lady Cats rolled past Bloomington in three of four games, Tuesday night, 25-19, 25-16, 25-11. Bloomington took a close 25-23 in one game.

“We had some moments of playing very high level of volleyball,” said Coach Crystal Langley. “I was proud of the focus and intensity we came out with.”

The coach said the Lady Cats served well and were the more aggressive team at the net.

Brittney Torfin had an excellent night serving the ball with several aces. All of the hitters registered at least 1 kill.

“We really needed this win to help get us back in the playoff hunt,” Langley said. “After traveling to Edna Friday for a non-district match we have a huge week next week facing both Taft and Banquete. The girls are working hard and we still believe.”
