The Joe Barnhart Bee County Library announces the renewal of its book club in July. All adults are welcome to attend the next meeting set for Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m. in the library.

A different book is read each month followed by discussion. No sign-up is required. “Feel free to show up and bring your thoughts about the book,” said John Reid, public relations librarian.

This month’s book is “The Time Traveler’s Wife” by Audrey Niffenegger. It’s the story of a young man who travels to different points in his life without being able to control it, and the woman who is therefore destined to be by his side.

“The movie version of this book comes out next month, so this is the perfect time to join us in reading the book,” said Reid.
