Edward Jones financial advisor Kelly McNeese of Beeville recently received the firm’s exclusive Key to the Community Award for her efforts in helping her community to issue bonds to local investors so that the interest payments stay in the community and are spent within Beeville.

McNeese was one of only 42 of the firm’s more than 12,000 financial advisors to receive the award.

James D. Weddle, Edward Jones’ managing partner, said, “Kelly is an outstanding member of the Edward Jones team who personifies the ideal Edward Jones financial advisor, someone who is 100 percent dedicated to serving the financial needs of her clients.”

In addition, Kelly also received the A.F. McKenzie Achievement Award for her outstanding sales and service efforts over the past year. The award is named for Al McKenzie, who developed the firm’s training program during his nearly 60 years of service with Edward Jones.

“When you work for a firm that is known for its outstanding service, it’s quite an honor to be singled out for your service record,” McNeese said.

She was one of only 1,516 of the firm’s more than 12,000 financial advisors to receive this award.
