The Longhorn 4-H Club had their annual swim party on July 21st at the Three Rivers City Pool. Each year in July, our club hosts a swim party and pizza party just to celebrate our friendships and enjoy each other’s company outside the regular 4-H meeting. It was a lot of fun and many members and their parents attended along with our club managers, Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Umphres and the county 4-H secretary, Joyce Monse, that keeps the 4-H office running smoothly. 

A big thank you to the Umphres for all they do to keep our club informed and all the help they give us and also thank you for helping us to plan the party! Every one enjoyed an evening of pizza and cold soft drinks, then a couple hours of splashing, swimming and diving. 

Our next meeting will be at the county court room at 7 p.m. on Aug. 11th.  If you are interested in joining 4-H or just want to see what it is all about, please plan to attend.
