The 17th annual Missions Tour de Goliad is coming to that town on Oct. 18 at 8 a.m.

Riders will start on the Goliad County Courthouse Square.

They will enter the gateway of Texas history as they cycle past historic sites and along the scenic San Antonio River Valley.

From the leisurely 10-mile ride to the more invigorating 30-, 50- and 85-mile tours, the ride offers a genuine treat for everyone.

Participants can find out more information on the ride at the Goliad Chamber of Commerce website at www.goliadcc.org.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Goliad County Chamber of Commerce office.

The registration fee, which includes a commemorative ride T-shirt, is $25 per cyclist or $20 per cyclist for families of four or more.

The City of Goliad Main Street Organization will be hosting a spaghetti meal for $8 per person.
