Western Week pageant winners get their crowns, sashes, flowers

The Miss Western Week Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by the Beeville Rotary Club, was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in the A.C. Jones High School Auditorium.

Miss Western Week Allison Porter received a winner’s package worth approximately $5,000, which included a $2,000 Coastal Bend College scholarship; a $1,000 scholarship from the Beeville Rotary Club; a one-year membership to Anytime Fitness including tanning; teeth cleaning and whitening from Bobbie Jo Meyer, DDS; a gift certificate from Skin Solutions; a gift certificate from Galloway Photography; a silver cowboy hat paper weight from Hogue’s Jewelers; and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Western Week First Runner-up Morgan McKinney received a $500 scholarship from the Beeville Rotary Club, a six-month membership to Anytime Fitness including tanning, a gift certificate Skin Solutions, and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Western Week Second Runner-up Amanda Cagle received a three-month membership with tanning to Anytime Fitness, a gift certificate from Skin Solutions, and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Teen Western Week Angelika Benavidez received a $500 savings bond from the Beeville Rotary Club, a gift certificate from Skin Solutions, a gift certificate from Galloway Photography, a silver cowboy hat paper weight from Hogue’s Jewelers, a silver crown ring from Pavilion’s Faucet, a Brighton necklace from The Wicker Basket, and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Teen Western Week First Runner-up Courtney Leonard received a $250 savings bond from the Beeville Rotary Club, a gift certificate from Skin Solutions and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Teen Western Week Second Runner-up Sydnie Maguire received a gift certificate from Skin Solutions and flowers from Kay BoKay’s.

Miss Princess Photogenic Raeann Flores and Miss Photogenic Amanda Cagle each received a gift certificate from Galloway Photography.

Miss Princess Congeniality Amanda Puente and Miss Congeniality Allison Porter were each presented jewelry from Bella’s.

Sierra Treviño earned Most Program Book Ad Sales and Hannah Stasny earned Most Pageant Tickets Sold. Sydnie Maguire was named Most Cooperative.

All contestants also received a $100 savings bond. The contestants and princesses were also presented with goodie bags filled with T-shirts donated by Legacy Home Health, two programs books, hair products, carnival passes, Whataburger coupons, Pantry taco coupons and movie passes.
