Frances Lucille Luthringer Duffill, 81, of Karnes City died on Oct. 11. She was born on Jan. 28, 1927 in Live Oak County, the daughter of Gus Luthringer, Jr. and Ethel Louvina Mullen Hatcher. She married Lt. Laurence Johnson in Beeville in 1945 and Geoff Duffill in San Jose, Ca in 1965.

She was a retired office administrator for an insurance company. She attended the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Lee Miranda of Redwood City, CA.; one brother, Dick (Verline) Luthringer of Karnes City; one grandson, Greg Ramar; two nieces and a nephew.
