The commission will meet Aug. 18 in the commissioners courtroom to hammer out the details and choose photos for the community calendar, said Capt. Don Foxhall of Bayside who is spearheading the project.
“Right now, we’re soliciting old family photos to use in the calendar,” Foxhall said. “We want originals so that the pictures will be high quality. All of them will be returned.”
Foxhall said the groups want pictures that are at least 40 or 50 years old.
Others working on the calendar are Kate Campbell, Willie Brown, Beverly Fletcher, Dorothy Naylor, Herndon Williams and Rosemary Kelley.
