• Juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles

On Aug. 9, at 11 p.m. Trooper Danny White was dispatched to Hwy, 183 and 77, to investigate several complaints of two juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles.

A truck driver reported that his driver side windshield had been chipped by a rock. No suspects were found at the scene.

• Arrested for pot

Officer Enrique Diaz initiated a traffic stop on Aug.. 21 for a traffic violation.

Officer Diaz reported that the driver appeared to be very nervous when the officer asked for a drivers license and proof of insurance.

The driver was cited for no proof of insurance. The driver reportedly gave consent to search his vehicle.

During the search two cigarettes believed to be marijuana were found. The man admitted it was marijuana and that it belonged to him, according to Diaz’s report.

The Corpus Christi man was taken to Refugio County Jail for possession of marijuana, less than or greater than two oz.

• Citations issued for open containers

On Aug. 21, at approximately 5:04 p.m. Officer Enrique Diaz initiated a traffic stop for an expired registration and inspection sticker.

Contact was made with the female driver and the male passenger. Both Texas drivers license were ran through dispatch. The male passenger had an active warrant from Port Lavaca and was placed into custody.

Officer Diaz asked the driver for consent to search the vehicle. During the search three opened 16-ounce cans of beer were located on the floorboard. Both subjects were issued citations for open containers.

The vehicle was impounded for no proof of insurance.
