The Redfish Bay Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association/Beeville group will hold its annual fish fry on Sept. 17 at the Bob May Ranch from 6-10 p.m.

“The location is new and you get to the Bob May Ranch off Highway 59 between George West and Beeville,” CCA officials said. “You turn right on Viggo Road for 1.6 miles and then turn left unto Gill Ranch Road and go about 3.9 miles to the entrance of the ranch.

“Everyone is invited to attend and swap fish stories and support the conservation of marine and animal life in our area bay systems.”

Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the gate. Tickets may be purchased from CCA members or at Classique Cleaners, Elder’s Country Store, Morris Radiator or Fuller Tractor Co.

Dinner will be fried fish, beans and all the trimmings. Cold beer and iced tea will be available to quench one’s thirst.

There will be chances to win door prizes, raffle items and to participate in a silent auction along with a big live auction.
