Martha Wallace, president of the club, presided over the meeting and called for monthly reports to be reviewed by the members.
Austwell-Tivoli ISD retirees will host the October meeting on Thursday, Oct. 8. Local members will gather at the city hall at 9:15 a.m. and drive to the Canales Cafe in Tivoli.
DPS Trooper Gearld Bryant, the guest speaker, will talk on public safety.
