The meeting will be held in the lecture hall at the main entrance of A.C. Jones High School.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and be followed by a program presented by Jim Warren, professional archaeologist from George West.
Warren has been involved in archaeology digs all over the nation, and in particular in our own part of Texas.
He will be speaking on the excavation work of Fort Ramirez, believed to be the oldest extant building in Live Oak County, located in the southeast corner of that county.
This program is free to the public and should be interesting to everyone.
Plan to attend and support the Bee County Historical Society. For more information, contact Shirley O’Neil at 343-3119.
