Parenting can be tough. Teens will make mistakes, cross boundaries and sometimes lose the trust of their parents.

This week’s DVD episode will give advice in how to deal with the scary issues like rebellion, drugs, drinking and sex. Parents will learn ways to set boundaries and establish clear and realistic consequences.

The DVD presentation is hosted by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, co-directors of the Center for Relationship Development at Seattle Pacific University, a program dedicated to teaching the basics of good Christian relationships. The Parrotts have been guests on programs including Oprah and Good Morning America and their work has been featured in Christianity Today and Focus on the Family.

The community is invited to attend this weeks session at 6:30 in the JOY classroom of First Baptist Church in George West. For details contact Facilitator - Crickett Iley at 449-2922. The program time parallels the Jr.High / High school youth group hour called “ the Mix”, allowing for stimulating interaction for both parents and teens.
