The entire week the students will be reading books on various countries around the world while visiting the fair. The students will participate in activities that will focus on the same subject.
On Monday the fair will open with a Teacher Preview, followed by a full day of reading events. Tuesday the fair will feature Breakfast with Books for parent and students to enjoy a French Bistro while shopping.
That evening Family Night will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. for parents who did not attended the morning event.
Wednesday is Lunch with a Loved One Day. Parents are invited to the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, and afterward they can shop and take a family picture with the Around the World Theme that will be set up in the library.
Thursday student will participate in relay races and win books from the fair. The week will end with Grandparent/Aunt/Uncle Day. Family members will be invited to shop and taste various cuisines from other countries.
“We hope to see you next week at the Book Fair,” said Anna Garcia, librarian. “It is a chance to start your Christmas shopping and buy great books for your loved one.”
All proceeds will go to reading incentives, new on-line reading programs, and author visits.
