She was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Beeville to Walter H. and Mabel Bomer Range. She married Dueward Virgil Wilburn on Dec. 26, 1951, in Live Oak County. She was a 4-H club leader, an auxiliary member of the Swinney Switch Volunteer Fire Department and former owner of the Range Feed Store.
Mrs. Wilburn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include one daughter, Laurie Leeton (Leonard) Fluitt of Live Oak County; one son, Walter Wilburn of Live Oak County; three grandsons, Alex Wilburn of George West, T.J. Wilburn of Beeville and Trey Leeton of Live Oak County; one granddaughter, Leslie (David) Winsauer of Odem; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Hawthorne and Sue Kaack; one brother-in-law, J.L. Wilburn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway and Sons chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, also at Galloway and Sons chapel, with Rev. Bill Stockton officiating. Burial will follow at the Range Ranch Cemetery in Live Oak County.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Edward Jones, James Leeton, Glen Myers, Alex Kibler, John Black and Leo Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Myers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
