Eleven candidates have filed to run on the Democratic ballot and one has filed to run on the Republican ballot.

Incumbent candidates who have filed to run in the March Democratic Primary are Rene Mascorro, county judge; Lorraine Lopez, justice of the peace, pct. 1; Ruby Vela Garcia, district clerk; Stanley D. Tuttle, county commissioner, pct. 2; Rod Bernal, county commisioner, pct. 4.

Candidates who have filed for justice of the peace, pct. 2 are Krystal Farrow, John Moehr and Emi Riemenschneider.

Filing for county clerk are Patty Baugh and Ida Ramirez.

One candidate has filed to run on the Republican ticket. Louis Aduddell seeks re-election to county treasurer.

Candidates have until Jan. 4, 2010 to file for a place on either ballot.
