He was born Aug. 11, 1938, in San Diego. He was an assistant electrician.
Survivors include three daughters, Sonia Hook and Cynthia Alvarado, both of Bothell, Wash., and Rachel Alvarado of San Antonio; two sons, Rudy Alvarado and John Roland Alvarado, both of Bothell, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the Treviño Funeral Home with Father Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #1.
