In addition to arrests, the Sheriff’s office received 150 complaints the week of Jan.19-25.

A Three Rivers female reported that there were some people ‘trying to be like gangsters.’ Two men were trying to cause a fight.

A George West female advised that three males were yelling; one threw a wok through the window. They were last seen walking toward the school.

A woman west of George West complained that there was something in the air giving everyone a headache. She thought it might be coming from one of the rigs around there.

A male clerk at a Three Rivers convenience store advised that a vehicle had put in $30 worth of gas and it all spilled out under the car. The Three Rivers Fire Department responded.

A George West female reported that a boy next door had a small fire going in his back yard. She was afraid because there is dry grass in her back yard area. The responding officer was unable to locate.

A male caller from Sandia advised that a drunk woman was at his house, banging on his front and back doors. She was very intoxicated. She was now sitting in an old truck out front of his house that “doesn’t even run.” The woman lives down the block and they don’t want her around. An arrest was made.

A female passerby advised there was a suspicious person climbing over the fence at the McMullen/Live Oak Co. line. He crossed the fence on the right side and went toward the lake, walking down the sendero.

A Three Rivers female reported that the radiator hose and other stuff were taken from her mother’s car this morning. She advised that a neighbor’s son had been having problems with his vehicle and he didn’t have the money to fix it. Now, his car was up and running.

There was a blue hatch back vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. The occupants had binoculars and were looking at the prison. It looked suspicious.

A Three Rivers woman stated that their neighbor had come over and started beating up her husband. They were “out in the front yard fighting bad right now.” She said they had been drinking but have no weapons on them. The responding officer advised two men had been detained. He asked to have EMS make location as one man had a large laceration on his face. An arrest was made.

Atascosa Co. officer reported that a white Jeep 2 door had bailed out on them. It had been occupied by two male subjects who had bailed out and possibly had weapons. It was reported that a chopper was on its way. The vehicle information came back as belonging to a man in McMullen Co. The owner was contacted. He advised the vehicle should be at the ranch - “if it’s not; then it’s been stolen.” He said that, if they got the keys out of the trailer, they possibly stole the guns he had out there, also.

A Three Rivers man said that an older model Oldsmobile passenger car ran over his dog. He wanted to speak to an officer.

A Three Rivers woman advised that she and her kids had rented a cabin at the state park to stay the night. Her sister had found out where they were and was driving around “peeling out” and harassing her.

A George West male walked in wanting directions and advised that he had looked in the Ad Sack and there was a deer lease. He had called the owner at the phone number but is unable to get ahold of him now. The place is supposed to have hogs and deers and a cabin and all kinds of fun stuff. The caller wanted a game warden to call the phone number.

At 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 21, a Live Oak Co. man approached a deputy and advised him that he had observed a subject loading two calves onto a 12 ft. goose neck trailer pulled by a 4 door crew cab older model pick up. The fence was down where vehicle had entered. The incident occurred on Jan. 18 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

A deputy advised that he had a chase in progress near Lake Corpus Christi. The chase, involving a blue Tahoe occupied by one male subject, ended at a cemetery. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Harris Co. There was a red Dodge extended cab vehicle traveling with this vehicle. A Ford extended cab pickup drove by several times and was believed to have picked up the driver of the stolen vehicle. A short time later, Jim Wells Co. located the red Dodge which was also stolen.

Joe Lara Garcia, 61, of Midland was arrested on Jan. 23 for driving while intoxicated, 3rd or more offense for which Chapa set bond at $5,000; #2 - possession of drug paraphernalia with bond of $350.

Armando Morin, 49, of George West was arrested for driving while intoxicated, open alcohol container, 3rd or more offense. Chapa set bond at $5,000.

Little Running Bear Rader, 30, of Three Rivers was arrested on Jan. 22 for burglary of building. Chapa set bond at $5,000. He was released on Jan. 24.

Orellana Milagro Pineda, 36, was arrested for theft of property greater than or equal to $50, less than $5,000. There was a Border Patrol hold; no bond was set.

Rebecca Lucinda Krnavek, 49, of Sandia was arrested on Jan. 21 for public intoxication. Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 Jim Lane set bond at $400.

Ezekiel Hernandez, 51, of Mexico was arrested on Jan. 19 for public intoxication. He was fined $150.

Esmerejildo Munoz, 35, of Dallas was arrested on Jan. 21 for possession of marijuana, greater than 5 lbs.; less than or equal to 50 lbs. He went to court in McMullen Co. where he received 3 years probation by Judge Johnson. His release was authorized by Dallas Marshal’s office.

Jerry Perez, 39, of San Antonio was arrested on Dec. 31 for #1 - false alarm or report emergency (Live Oak Co. warrant); #2 - false alarm or report emergency (Bee Co. warrant.) He was released for time served on Jan. 21.

Juan Manuel Hernandez, 35, of Hidalgo was arrested on Jan. 12 on a warrant from Nueces Co. for contempt of court on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was picked up by Nueces Co. on Jan. 20.
