Over the years the Goodie Box Organization of Three Rivers has given scholarship amounts of $150 to $250 to multiple county recipients.

The first, second and third edition Goodie Box Cookbooks have always been, and continue to be, the cornerstone of our scholarship monies. In recent years, fundraisers, bake sales and private donations have added to this important endeavor. Through the generous support of our customers and the diligent work of our membership, the Goodie Box Scholarship program continues to grow.

The Goodie Box membership is once again excited to announce that the 2010 scholarship amount will be $300 per student. This year three (3) scholarships of $300 each will be awarded to the youth of our communities.

Scholarship applications are now available in the Counselor’s Office at both George West High School and Three Rivers High School. In addition, applications are also available for pick-up at The Goodie Box. Students graduating this May or who have previously graduated from our local schools are eligible for these monies.

Applications must be completed and returned to the Goodie Box Organization by April 16. Along with the completed application, each student is required to submit a personal photograph that will not be returned.
