The Woodsboro JV Eagles hosted the Falls City Beavers this past Friday evening, but fell short of victory, 34-24.

“The defense was able to regroup and continued to play hard the rest of the game,” said Coach Keith Williams.

The Eagles out scored the Beavers in the fourth quarter but were unable to make up the deficit.

Leading the Eagles in scoring were Edward Meza with 6 points followed by Tyler Quesada, Emilio Vasquez, and Daniel Ortega, each with 4 points; J.R. Gonzales, 3; Jarred Martinez and Tyler Garza, 1 each.
