The visitors got two first half goals and then the Beeville defense got going and blanked them the rest of the way.
“We played much better the second half and it was definitely a better game for us than last time,” said JV coach Amber Orchard.
The first game between the two teams in Pleasanton went to the Eaglettes, 5-0.
The Lady Trojans were also short a few players as two were moved up to varsity and a couple were lost to grades.
The Beeville girls played pretty well offensively but shots on goal were few and kicks went just wide or high. Porsha Beltran, Alexis Pelitire and Emily Head moved the ball on offense.
Monica Garza drew praise for her play in goal for the Lady Trojans, coming up with a few saves over the course of the match for coach Orchard. Leslie Alaniz warded off several Pleasanton offensive charges and backed up the Eaglette offense with her play on defense.
The JV girls will play Harlandale this Friday.
