Another great ranch house on the 1st Annual Ranch House Tour is the Casa Angela owned by Angela Martin.

The spectacular home sits atop a hill and nestled in a rock formation on La Champana Ranch. The house was inspired by the Pueblo designs of Northern New Mexico and Colonial Spanish Architecture.

The interior is an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional art, with a decor that lends itself to Middle Eastern, Asian and western influence. An exotic oasis in the South Texas brush country is one you don’t want to miss.

This is another one of the six fabulous homes that will be on the Ranch House Tour sponsored by Unify to Beautify on Saturday, May l, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased from any UTB member and the following locations in George West: George West Chamber of Commerce, 400 Nueces St; Salon 601, 601 Pecos; Expressions in Hair, 300 Travis St.; Just Tees N More, 600 Houston St.; This and That, 304 Nueces, and in Three Rivers at Shear Pleasure Angels and Things, 200 Thornton St.

All proceeds will go to the creation of a stone entrance to the George West cemetery and donations are welcome.

Saturday, May 1, the Buck West house (Chamber of Commerce) will open at 9:30 a.m. and will serve as a center to meet your friends, buy your tickets, and be treated to some snacks and drinks, and have a nice powder room stop. It will remain open until 2 p.m.
