Lamon and Elaine Bennett’s home was designed and built by the Bennett’s with the family living as a priority. The front door came from a grandfather’s house that was located on the main street of George West. Open spacious kitchen, dining, and living room provide for easy entertaining of family and friends. Large windows provide enjoyment of beautiful Live Oak and Mesquite trees that surround the home.
Unify to Beautify and the Meider’s have already been working on the design of the stone entrance to the George West cemetery and it is magnificent. All the proceeds and donations from the Ranch House Tour will be given to the building of the entrance. The entrance of the cemetery will be moved to the corner closest to Hwy. 59, so it will be seen coming into George West and will be an incredible addition to our city.
Tickets can also be purchased before May 1, from UTB members and the following locations in George West; Salon 601, 601 Pecos; Expressions in Hair, 300 Travis St.; Just Tees N More, 600 Houston St.; This and That, 304 Nueces, and in Three Rivers at Shear Pleasure/Angels and Things, 200 Thornton St.
