Mr. Harris was born on Jan. 14, 1940, in Hulbert, Okla., to the late William Edward Harris and Barbara (Gray) Harris. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was employed as a manager for aircraft maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Boeger; his mother, Barbara Harris; five sons, Randy (Carole) Crawford of San Diego, Calif., Raymond E. (Sandra) Harris Jr. of Washington State, John (Marsha) Harris of Woodinville, Wash., Larry Harris of Fort Jackson, S.C., and Roy Harris of Ohio; three daughters, Angela Crawford (Bart) Varga of Fredericksburg, Melanie (Darren) Anderson of Roanoke, Ala., and Lori (Michael) Campbell of Beeville; nine sisters, Oleta (Burl) Lyons of Gentry, Ark., Ruth (Ron) Carlson of Boise, Idaho, Margie (Arthur) Fox of Lincoln, Ark., Margaret Phipps of Westville, Okla., Minnie (Dean) Convirs, Wanda Moorehead, Shirley (Anthony) Latta, Colleen (Allen) Brown and Corinna (Dean) Uanderheiden, all of Stilwell, Okla.; five brothers, Richard (Patsy) Harris of Broken Arrow, Okla., Tommy Harris, Fred (Diana) Harris and Loyd (Lynn) Harris, all of Stilwell, Okla., and Buddy (Meda) Harris of Welling, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be held the following morning at 10 o’clock with the Rev. Peter Muroko officiating. Diane Puckett will provide music selections. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
