The Unify to Beautify Organization is operating a blanket drive for the month of December, with the donations to be given to Outreach for distribution to needy families during the upcoming cold months.

UTB workers, while doing volunteer work at Outreach, noted that the need for blankets is dire in our communities, and there are never enough to go around.

Donations can be dropped off at The Trailside Artisan, 405 Nueces, next to the Pizzarriffic. New and gently used blankets, quilts, comforters, and throws are all welcome.

Monetary donations are also welcomed. There will be a drop-off box on the front porch at The Trailside. Monetary donations can be mailed to The Trailside, PO Box 1645, George West, TX 78022, and need to be clearly marked for blanket purchases.
