She will be competing in the Miss Teen division, one of four divisions which will have young ladies between the ages of 7 and 19 competing in modeling routines which include casual wear and formal wear. Most importantly, she will display her personality and interviewing skills. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during all phases of competition.
The lucky young woman chosen to win the title of Miss Teen San Antonio will represent San Antonio and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition which will take place in Orlando, Fla. Over $60,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the National Competition.
There is no cost to participants to compete in the pageant. Community businesses, organizations, and private individuals will assist the participants in this year’s competition by becoming official sponsors. Through sponsorship, each contestant receives all the necessary training, rehearsals, and financial support which allows participants to be confident and well-prepared.
