Entry forms and gingerbread houses are due on Dec. 17, at 4:30 p.m. Displays may be picked up on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 12 p.m.
“A beautiful display of nativity scenes are on loan to us by some of our OLR parishioners,” said Maureen Reilly, organizer.
There will be four age categories in the contest including adults, 19 years and older; teens, 14 to 18; children, nine to 13; children, five to eight; and family entries, for all age groups.
Gingerbread house must be mounted on a hard, disposable, unbendable surface no larger than 24 inches by 24 inches long. The main structure must be constructed of gingerbread only.
Everything on display must be made of edible materials, excluding mounting surface. No professional entries will be permitted. It can be a gingerbread boat house, dog house or any other creative idea.
