Miss Zambrano was born in Bee County on Oct. 11, 1941, to Pedro and Jesusa Peña Zambrano.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Gregorio and Cirildo Zambrano.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Sofia G. Zambrano of Three Rivers.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eckol’s Chapel in Kenedy.
A funeral service was celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Herman Norbert officiating. Burial followed in the Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Roland Zambrano, Elsa Zambrano, Manuel Vela, Ignacio Rodriguez, Raul Martinez and David Reyes.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eckols Funeral Home Inc. in Kenedy.
