The board of directors of the Refugio County Boys and Girls Club is busy preparing for the Eighth Annual Gala. This years event will be Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Expo Center at the Refugio County Fairgrounds.

“Hats off” will spotlight this years activities at our local club and how it serves the children of our community. The evening will include drinks, dinner by Rick Tinney of “Panache on the Square,” a line auction, silent auction and music by the Deadbeats of Corpus Christi. This band was founded by the late Judge Carl Lewis and has continued to play for fund-raisers in the area.

This is the major fund-raiser for the local Boys and Girls Club.

We greatly appreciate the community’s support. Sponsorships are available.
