Mrs. DelRosario was born on Dec. 8, 1939, in San Antonio to Maria Garcia Martinez and Alfredo Garza. She married Bayani “Pat” DelRosario in Sinton on Sept. 1, 1961. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sinton, where she was a member of the Guadalupanas. She taught and coordinated CCD there for 17 years. She was a member of the Hospitality Ministry and Bereavement Community at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo Garza and Maria Martinez; and a son, Carlos DelRosario.
Survivors include her husband, Bayani “Pat” DelRosario of Beeville; a daughter, Linda Jean Blucher of Mississippi; a son, Ricardo (Diana) DelRosario of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Tina, Mary Elizabeth, Bobby and Hyapatia; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Amelia (Ramiro) Castillo of Beeville; and other family and friends.
Visitation was held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery.
