The festival will feature exhibition Greek folk dancing by the Hellenic Dancers and the Glendi Dancers of St. Nicholas, live Greek music by the LAAND Band from Dallas, church tours and lots of food and fun.
A traditional Greek dinner of souvlaki, a tiropita, dolmathes, rice pilaf and pita bread will be sold from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Greek salads, pastitsio and gyros will also be offered. The popular Greek pastries (baklava, kourambiedes, koulourua twists and almond cookies) will be sold during the festival but may also be pre-ordered by calling 361-883-0950 and be picked up at the church hall on Nov. 3 and 4. Other items available at the festival will include baklava sundaes and Greek coffee, in addition to Greek wine and beers.
